Law is law, sin is sin, yet many people do this every single day in some form, be it malicious, for personal gain, trying to survive or just for shits and giggles, theft is all around us.

For many years I used to steal Twix chocolate bars or other small and easily snatched candy from a supermarket when in junior high. I didn't even enjoy them too much to be fair, sometimes took a bite and threw them away or gave them away to someone else. It was just for the juvenile thrill, the coaxing or for some sneaky satisfaction. I never thought about the ramifications, such as when I was caught trying to steal smokes - luckily it was a little shop in a little town and I got away with a warning. I, we all knew it wasn't right, but did it anyway. I know many people on NS have stolen rental poles, for example, without any big feelings of remorse.

So NS, what have you stolen in your lifetime, why did you do it and how does/did it make you feel?

Pffft. Stolen. Only one thing I can think of. It was a small lader for LEGO. My friends parents had this small ladder and I REALLY wanted it (I was like 5-6?) so I took it. Never really stole anything after that again.

the other day i stole 2 buckets of balls from a driving range. i'm not sure if it even counts as stealing because we paid for the balls...

on another occasion i was pretty high and i went to safeway to buy some eyedrops. the really nice ones (rhotos) are like 8 bucks so i was just gonna take them. i put them up my sleeve like a pro and there was nobody even close to me but then i got really paranoid and ended up paying for them

okay so back when i was probably 12 or so my friends and i would walk down to 711 and a few would buy something but almost everyone would steal something, even if they bought something else.(takes away suspicion) We mostly just stole chocolate bars or slurpees but one day i decided to take a lighter from the tray next to the cashier. I got away with it and then everybody was stealing lighters, just for the thrill(we would just blow the up after). Then my one friend got caught stealing a can of coke from safeway and i think he still isn't allowed in there. Then that same friend wanted to steal the entire tray of lighters. The tray is literally right next to the cashiers and wanted to just slide the tray off the rack and leave with it. My other friend was buying something and i was still picking out some candies. When he all of a sudden just grabbed the tray and sprinted out the door. we left right after him and after that he was so paranoid about it none of us ever stole anything again. but i cant believe they didnt catch him

recently stole a handle of captain morgan. priciest thing i've ever stolen. i will not be doing that again... i'd rather just go the fake ID route. i've stolen tons of shit though, all the typical stuff (candy bars, drinks, redbull cause that shit is damn expensive, lighters even though i didn't use em, condoms, icecream bars, etc.)

last winter i'd go into CVS with my Saga jacket on, and load like 6 redbulls into the interior pockets and 2 into the exterior pockets, then buy a candy bar and something else and leave. no way in hell am i paying 4.00 for a non-alcoholic drink that's not even 20 ounces.

i wanna hear some stories about people stealing TV's and shit. only ones I know are this one kid broke into and then hotwired a car, drove it around, then put it back cause he got paranoid.

same kid made over 20 grand selling weed over 1 summer.

I once stole an entire teeter totter from a playground, me and a buddy lifted it right out of the ground, we hid it in some bushes and returned it few days later.

I clean out Wal Mart almost every time I go. and I steal from houses at parties all of the time, but I have one rule; I never steal anything to sell it. it's always clothes, jewelry, etc. that I'm actually going to use. and I don't steal from poor peoples' houses.
