What have you stolen?

Law is law, sin is sin, yet many people do this every single day in some form, be it malicious, for personal gain, trying to survive or just for shits and giggles, theft is all around us.

For many years I used to steal Twix chocolate bars or other small and easily snatched candy from a supermarket when in junior high. I didn't even enjoy them too much to be fair, sometimes took a bite and threw them away or gave them away to someone else. It was just for the juvenile thrill, the coaxing or for some sneaky satisfaction. I never thought about the ramifications, such as when I was caught trying to steal smokes - luckily it was a little shop in a little town and I got away with a warning. I, we all knew it wasn't right, but did it anyway. I know many people on NS have stolen rental poles, for example, without any big feelings of remorse.


So NS, what have you stolen in your lifetime, why did you do it and how does/did it make you feel?

stole a golf pick at a local golf club cuz i didn't have one
stole a pole from Canon after SOMEBODY STOLE MINE THAT I DROPPED......

but it's all good, it was closing day and there was one pole just chilling so i took it... it's pretty bent but whatevaaaa


also in the winter i just go to CVS, throw a couple redbulls in every pocket of my saga jacket, and buy one then leave.

that slushee cup idea is GENIUS though.

Every so often me and a couple friends take what we please from where ever we please. Ski areas, however, are off limits.

We've taken beer, malt liquor, beef jerky, cigarettes & chaw (even though most of us don't use either), shit from recently-abandoned houses we break into (mad fun), etc.

I work at a gas station and have, on multiple occasions, stood in the back cooler (while keeping in eye on the only other employee who's working at the time) and cracked cold beers and sat back there downing em. I just recently came into some masks - The skeleton and nun masks from 'The Town' movie - and we're going to pay a visit to a guy's house that I've got a real fucking problem with. Work him over then see what he's got nice for us

A friend of mine steals shit like none other. He got kicked out of his house, and has no job, so he steals everything. Last week we decided to barbeque, and he went to get the stuff from QFC. came back with charcoals, a really nice grill kit, 6 flank steaks, 24 brats, a couple different types of BBQ sauce and marinade, pre made skewers, buns, and 72 beers. And that's a normal occurance for him

I once found a key at my school for the vending machines in my first year.

We had one desolate machine with no cameras in a back hallway that was always stuffed with everything from sandwiches to snacks and drinks.

I've had free food for five years in a row.

Candy, Condoms, Lighters, Tons of redbull, Liqour, Sun Glasses, Spray Paint, Paint Markers, Two really danky Dank Plants, CD's, Movies, Tools, 648 Pops (gatorade's and sodas) We use to bust the flaps on pop machines and buy one of each drink then procede to empty the machine. Then busted into the parks storage unit and empty'ed there stock room. We were like 15-16, but we were supplied most of the summer lol. Tons of subwoofers and decks, we called it system hunting and would come home with anywhere from 1-5 systems. Also countless black and milds, cigars and cigs.

Im sure there is a lot more I can't think of, I was a little klepto. Me and my friend in Junior High use to keep a note book of all the stuff we would steel during winter (the prime season) and try to total it up when summer came around.

Also when I was ~13 we would steal cigs and cigars from a little bait shop at this campground. Only one employee and no cameras so we had one person askto hey showed where something was that we knew was in the back of the store then the other would go behind the counter and fill our pockets.

And it wasn't actually me who took it but we were out having some late night shenanigans and we prowled a few cars.. we stumbled upon a Glock and my friend took it but his parents found it. He got charged with a felony but got reduced to misdemeanor theft.

I steal a pack of gum or two from the supermarket sometimes , I feel like stop and shop can afford to absorb a pack of gum. I always feel bad whenever I take more than that so I don't really.

the only time i've ever stolen something was when i was at sugarloaf staying with a friend in his cabin for three days and i wasn't prepared so i had like 3 bucks, spent that and then on the second to last day, couldn't get lunch and was deathly hungry about to pass out so i stole some nutter butters

First off, stealing anything from a resort that isn't resort food is fucked.
Second, i was thinking super hard what to add to this and i realized Pokemon cards were like the only thing i stole.... ever. Then i lol'd when i read that like everyone on here used to do that.
I rationalize it this way though, my parents swore they would never, ever buy me a Pokemon card (which they never did) and on the bus one day my buddy had a binder with like doubles and triples of cards... i was thinking "Hmmmm, i could totally jack some of these and he would not give a single fuck".... two minutes later he turned around on the bus and handed me a stack of like 50-75 cards and it was like my sign from God never to steal them again.
Irrelevant. The most annoying kid in Catholic school had a holographic Charzard and i was pretty sure he stole my holographic Blastoise because mine disappeared and he appeared with one a week later. Best believe i stole both dem bitches and destroyed everyone. But i battled like 3 people.... maybe. How worthless.

Holy fuck, also my buddy left Vice City @ my house in like 7th grade and moved away. I felt so guilty but that was the most played video game i ever owned. I saw him like 8 years later and apologized. According to him 4 beers was solid payment. Don't even have to feel guilty anymore. Yessssss.

This past christmas be and some friends met some girls from Minnesota on a school trip while hammered one night in Breckenridge. They invited us back to their hotel room to hang out but they all immediately passed out. We perceived this to be an open invitation take their 4 handles and 30 rack back home with us. Besides, its the least they could do for practically carrying them back from the bar. We saw them on the hill the next day and just waved as we skied by them. They could ski almost as graceful as they could walk shit faced. Thank you mystery Minnesota girls.

I'm actually a really nice upfront guy, but i never got along with kids at my school so i hung out with the lower life crowd (our school was full of rich annoying preppy kids). I'm not saying what i did wasn't wrong believe me i know it was. But we never got to do anything or go anywhere we were stuck in a small town so that's how we got our kicks every now and again. For the most part i always took the back seat, being the get away driver or something of that caliber where i didn't actually have to do anything. When we robbed all the pop machines my arms were to short to reach into the machine so i just stood guard and loaded the bags. I did how ever lead the whole stock room idea after getting the pop machines i was kinda juiced up and wanted to show everyone i could actually do something so i did. Nowa days that crowd is getting super tatted and not doing much of anything, even though we were like a family growing up i try to limit my time with them. I live my life with the idea of karma, my previous post in no way shape or form will show that but i do. Id give you the shirt off my back if you needed and not expect anything in return.
