Running from the cops stories.

I've never been put in a situation where I have had to do it my self, but i love reading stories about people who have. Whether it was on foot or in a car, whats your story?

also, if i ever am put in the situation in which i need to run (party gets busted or something along those lines) do you have any tips?

So the one time I got chased by cops I blacked out.

Story: This was at the end of freshman year in high school and i was sleeping at my friends house who was also my cousin, with another one of our friends.

Our original plan was to do shrooms but because of various things that fell through.

At like 10 we walk to a basketball court near his house to ball cuz his parents are chill bout that kinda shit and we all pass a few js and take a few shots from a water bottle I had.

We had back at 11 all feeling nice, ready to have a chill night.

One of our friends texts us and is like yo you want a handle for 15?

Oh fuck yea we say so we pick that up and all make drinks in the kids living room.

So I have about half a water bottle of some shitty ass vodka in me and some mary jane so I'm pretty gone.

But I'm like fuck it and drink more. Go half vodka/half oj so now I'm at a full water bottle in under an hour.

Absolutely fucked outta my mind.

Girl texts me and is like yo you and pat should come over.

So me and him grab a gatorade bottle full of vodka, a few cigars and start making the trek to her house (about 3 miles) while the other kid is passed out on the couch.

I keep taking swigs of the bottle and light up a cigar and could barely hold it cuz i was so stumble and kept dropping it and picking it up by the lit end hahahaha but couldn't feel it.

So now its like 2 AM and we see headlights coming from behind us and in our near blackout we peace into the woods hoping they wouldn't see us.

All i remember is turning to see a cop go past not 20 feet away from me and a split second later I hit a tree, lost my phone, and puked on myself.

Thats when i blacked out.

But we continued on.

Fast forward an hour, we're chilling in the cemetery with the girls and i start dying (i semi regained memory here) and I'm lying on my side puking and not being able to move, crying, dry heaving and fucking everything imaginable. My friend took a shit on a grave cuz he couldn't hold it and blamed the smell on me.

my cousins dad came and picked us up cuz it was time for that, we didn't care anymore and he was gonna let us ride it out so i wouldn't get in trouble but it was too bad so he called my dad.

Dad took me to hospital. Wake up at like 7 in the ER with like 4 IV's in me COLD AS FUCK.

I became hypothermic over the night and when i got to the hospital my BAC was just under .3


crazy fucking night.

Two stories
1) Me and my friends were longboarding at the cemetery on some hills minding our own business(I feel bad about it now hahaha) and we see a security truck pull up and we grab our boards and book it down a hill. We then run out into these hedges and hide there. Meanwhile one of my friends is behind and realizes he is caught so I he acts like a suck up and apologizes politely and leaves. We wait for the truck to leave and then go thank my friend. It was pretty close to being bad if no one had stopped,

2) Me and some of the same friends were hitting a rail at/near an elementary school and while shoveling snow on the concrete for a run in a janitor came out and told us to stop shoveling. We then left and hit another close by little pick nick table feature for an hour. We see that his car has gone so we build up a jump and are about to hit this C-Rail and then while we are tying the bungee the janitors car comes by followed by a cop car so we run off unnoticed into the nearby woods, leaving the bungee and shovel. We wait in these bushes covered in snow for 15 minutes while they shovel away our jump, praying they will not take the bungee. Luckily they leave without the bungee and we go home. I hit the rail this year the 1 day there was enough snow with out a problem but I can still remember that time hahaha.

Because cops aren't allowed to use guns unless they're directly threatened, and if they shot some guy for having some weed or whatever on him there would be a massive backlash against the police.

Also, most American cops are not chill at all with alcohol because the US's drinking laws are pretty damn strict.  So if a cop catches you with some vodka and you are underage, you're pretty fucked.  In the US it's worth running.

One time I was driving 150 MPH on the freeway and a cop comes. He tried to pull me over but I just kept driving. Eventually about 5 more cops come and try to run me off the road. After some ten minutes of hitting stop signs and driving through light posts one of the cars comes and hits me, so i end up slamming into the barrier and three more cops box me in. I was really pissed off then so I just turned off the XBOX and watched some TV.

We were having a party at a public spot (where noone ever is) night to the first of may. Its a tradition to party at that time, so cops always show up... We heard rumors of police nearby, so we started walking pretty fast away. (Some people went in a diffrent direction than us.)Then we saw the cops walking behind us, and we all speeded up. As we started to run ( few seconds after) more police showed up in front of us. They just got our first names (lol) and told us to go home for the night. If they see us again this evening, we'll get a fine. So we all met up back at mcdonalds. Thats it..

One time a friend and I went downtown in our Morphsuits, and were just running around, fucking with people, and having a good time. Turns out there was an off duty cop chasing us during one period when we were just running down the street, but he lost us. We didn't hear him cause we both had icons around our necks and we were just jamming out. Next thing we know we turn a corner and we hear the siren behind us, and the cop speeds up and cuts us off, gets out of his car, and yells at us to stop. We weren't quite sure what we were doing, so we did as he said, and went over to talk to him. He said the off duty cop said he thought we were trying to rob a store, cause we were peering in the windows, and we were in morphsuits. So yeah, only time I've ever ran from the cops I didn't even know I was being chased.

One time a was at a kegger in the aurboredom in seattle and the cops came and I had a cup in my hand so I cop chased me and my friend 3 miles through the woods but I knew the area better than he did do I hopped the barbwire fence into the neighboring private golf course and went home from there

And dont from the cops unless they see you doing something bad., and dont run if you see I cop at night. Some cities have minor curfew laws so if a cop drives past you don't run. lastly, it's easier to run from a cop in a car rather than a cop in foot

Hahahaa this brings back some fond memories of Middle School. I was in 6th grade I think and my friends and I were playing Towntag in the downtown area of my city. Really fun time. The cops saw us and started chasing. We all split up and he went after me (fml). I ditched into a candy shop and blended into a group of kids.

I remembered an old story of mine I call it the Story of the Karate Sense who we fucked with.

Back in 6th grade me and my friends at the time were bored and fucking around, one day we were walking around town and decided to buy some popper noise makers and 'bomb bags' and throw them around. We walked past the T-train station and decided to throw them down in some little area that you walk down stairs to access and there are shops down there. We threw some down and it was fun so we decided to go get some more, we came back all 4 of us loaded with poppers and bomb bags and threw all of them down into what we know knew was a karate dojo, Now when the sense guy (who was also a white asshole not some Asian crazy guy) snuck out and around back. He then grabs the smallest one of us my Asian friend Solly by the shoulders and me and the fastest kid run off leaving Solly and another kid trapped with this crazy motherfucker. We run around to an alley as fast as we can and we do not realize that they were trapped. Then my friend's phone rings and it is one of the trapped friends telling us to come down to the Karate Dojo or he would call the cops, being 6th graders we did so scared shitless and sat down in these seats sweating our asses off. While his class practiced punching matts. He then said something like "Okay you disturbed my class and could have injured (I have no idea how, but I didn't want to fuck with him) one of my students, you will be punished for this." We all look like white ghosts by now I am sure, then he says "I can contact your school, your parents or the police" We all went with the 2nd choice of course and he made us tell him their phone numbers and he called them each. He also took down our names and threatened us that he would call police if ANYONE ever did this and blame it on us. He made us clean up the poppers and sent us on our way. The biggest pussy of us all almost cried because he thought he would be grounded for months, the others tried to blame anyone else and we all felt miserable. I walked home slowly and when I got home I had a surprisingly pleasant conversation with my dad who laughed at the whole thing. He said I was being stupid and I was grounded for a week but He thought the whole thing was funny not serious. I still see him outside in a black karate robe walking down the street to put money in a parking meter and smile at him as I walk my dog.

That my friends is why you don't fuck with white idiots who run karate dojos.

Pretty great/funny story though IMO. (I know it doesn't actually involve cops though and sorry for dub post.)

just today, i went canal jumping off a concrete wall and as soon as i land and look down the canal i see a 18 ft boston whaler haulin ass right at us, and it had a red light on a pole that was flashing, so it was obviously a police boat, and as im swimming out, it pulls up literally 10 feet from me and one of the cops ordered me to "stop immediately" and "swim to the boat" i replied with a "fuck you" and crawled up the rocks onto land where i ran into the woods and a quarter mile on gravel in bare feet wearing just my boxers.

Sorry but i really cant agree that its easier to run in a car. Unless you're drunk and/or really out of shape, its way easier to outrun him on foot. Plus you dont have to worry about them getting your plates

hahaha the beggining of my senior year (this year) we were at a local park, which is fairly dark, we were ding dong ditching... yes only ding dong ditching just because we were bored. and someone called the cops.. I was standing in a dark area when all the sudden someone grabbed me extremely aggresive, without thinking I turned and elbowed the aggresor as hard as I could. It happened to be a cop and his partner who was further back, the elbowed cop dropped to a knee and by that time I ran as hard as I could and hid in a back yard bush for hours, until Igot a ride from a buddy, and later we saw tons of cops patrolling looking for us!

thats the craziest experience I've had.

Back in 8th grade I was climbing on my middle schools roof with a buddy. We had probably invested 30 minutes into getting to the very top of this fucker, and were probably close to 60 feet from the ground. We were up three or four roof tiers from the ground floor. Then all of the sudden, we hear two cop cars converging on the school and were like "AHH TITDIRT! RUN FUCKER!!!!" so we haul ass of the roof, and jump off all of the 15 or 20' tiers to get to the ground, right after the other. Then we get on the play field, and book it down the street, right as we see the cop cars pull down the street. We ducked behind some bushes, and they drove around the block a couple times, but then they left.

Another time, three or four of us broke into an old military building at magnuson park here in Seattle, and we had a few cops checking us out there. They gave up after a while though. Still scared the shit out of us because we were in a military building, with only one way out. I wish I still had my foolish youthfulness...

Well ill give you the story of my night so far..

So today I went over to a 75-85 person party in the house of a kid that nobody knew or was friends with, I mean this kid had 3 friends over and said invite anybody else and he had no idea what was coming. After it got out of hand and and everybody refused to leave at around 11 the father of the kids older sisters friend, who is by the way in the army, came by the house with a bat and knife and forced everybody to get the fuck out. After that the whole 75 person party relocated to the local park right beside the house. Cops were called. 2 squad cars and a ghost car came up to the park and rode along with their lights on the group and a 3rd squad car actually drove onto the field and chased the group of kids off. One the 4 police cars got close enough cops started hopping out and chasing and tackling people. I got away fine but had to go back because my car was parked right beside where all the squad cars parked (wasn't drinking tonight just some bong hoots). Had to casually walk right beside the empty cars right beside where people were getting taken down 15 minutes before. At home now safe an sounds but plenty of others didn't get off so lucky.

Ok this one isn't about the cops, but yesterday I got in a car chase with some ghetto ass black guy.

I'm just driving home from taking the SAT and I get behind this car doing exactly 70 in the left lane while I'm trying to do 80. He doesn't move over and and I didn't feel like just passing him on the right because he's being a fuckin jackass on purpose. I proceed to tailgate him really fucking close. Like REALLY fucking close. As in no more than 2 feet in between our bumpers, usually less, and he keeps hitting his brakes. I get bored with that so I went around him on the right and he tries to start racing me. I'm in an 09 4Runner and he's in some ghetto ass blacked out old Lexus and it's not really a competition since we're going up a hill at this point. I'm hitting the rev limiter which is at 105 and he's strugglin so I just slow down because I think he'll just back off after that. I was wrong, and he pulls up on my right, rolls down his window, and him and his girlfriend start throwing up gang signs out the window. I roll down my window and start laughing, so he gets pissed. Every time we go by an exit he gets next to me in a position to block me from getting off, or follow me if I do get off. When my exit comes up I go Fast 5 on his ass, slam on my brakes, and cut behind him off the exit. He tries to follow me but doesn't make it and scrapes the barrier between the exit ramp and freeway. Probably one of the most exciting experiences I've ever had.

Haha that's awesome. I hate being "that asshole" on the road, so if someone gets behind me I let them pass, I let people in to merge etc. But when somebody else is being a douche for no reason I give it right back.

I have a pretty good one. Last summer we were ding dong ditching, i know, crazy stuff. One house was having a small get together, im assuming, 10+ people, so we got it. My friend is right across the street hiding behind an electrical box, meowing, when everybody comes out. He yells, runs down the street, meets up with our group, and ride away on our bikes. Now we were a street or two away from the house in a small apartment place. Were in the middle, in the street, when a car rolls up. It was really dark out. He comes up, and says, you kids ringing doorbells? My brother decides to answer, fuck yeah! Turns out this dude was a cop. We get spotlighted, and split. He goes after me first. I leave and go down a wet grass hill. There was a creek at the bottom, i hopped off my moving bike while running, jumped like 8 feet with my bike in my arms, and hop back on and ride away. I was with a different friend now on the road. We call my brother, and it turns out we lost the friend who was meowing. He didnt have his phone. I ride down the street and the cop sees us. I haul ass to my house, about a half mile ride. We all met up and got away with it. Fun stuff

Hahaha yea I'm the same way. I was cruising at likes 75 in the 2nd to farthest left lane on my way to boston at like 6 on a friday night with my girl and this bitch starts flashing her lights and honking at me even when the lanes to both sides of me are open so I'm like fuck this and switch lanes and she speeds up to like 90 so i get up next to her, throw up the bird so she honks some more and tries to floor it away from me and gets maybe a half mile away before i go pedal to the floor and pass her at like 130. slowed down let her catch up and got to a toll and yelled at her to suck on my chinese nuts and just ripped out of there.

cool story bro i know.

first off, i'd like to say two things:

1) i don't condone this behavior.
2) i was under the influence of a handful of different substances, so i blame my stupidity on that. haha

shortish version-

i was selling molly and lucy at the Gorge (badass concert venue in the NW) and was dosing out my points/hits in an RV in the campground with two of my other friends the day before Identity Festival, it was around 10ish at night. we finished up with the cid and started capping points. honestly we had enough that we weren't weighing them individually, just eyeballing. we dumped all of it on the table in the RV and started going to town. after about 20 minutes of doing this (without gloves) i was definitely starting to get the tingle in my fingers and noticed my head constantly bobbing. haha after about an hour of capping i could tell we were talking loud, but the Gorge is usually chill so i didn't think anything of it. literally no more than 5 minutes later i hear from the outside, "the pigs got an eye on ya..." from a random person walking by our camper. i look up and see a handful of flashlight peaking through our windows. i immediately turned to the person sitting next to me to ask what he thinks we should do, but they've already split out the door. i follow them, run for probably about 100 feet, trip over a tent. get up, continue running, make it another couple hundred feet and then feel my body tense up and i fall to the ground. i had been tazed. within seconds i feel a knee on my back and handcuffs getting slapped on. i was taken in to custody, grilled by some douchebag detectives, (didn't say a word, NEVAH SNITCH) and then taken to jail where i spent the weekend.


moral of the story, don't sell drugs; just take em'.

come on don't turn this into a fuck the police thread, they keep us safe and if that means putting up with some bullshit laws and dealing with the consequences when we're caught breaking them, then whatever it's worth having protection.

My best running from the cops story would have to be when i was in 11th grade and i was in elmira at this river party. theres about 40-50 ppl there and we have a bonfire goin. Were all havin a good time drinkin and smoking makin a ruckus and all of sudden im standing by the fire, and there are these dirt steps behind the fire that lead to the trail you have to walk to to get there. all of sudden a flash light shines in my face and its a cop, and this mother fucker goes "what are we doin here people" being the good samaritan I am i sprint out of that bitch other people are saying guys just stay but fuck that i dont want my name in with the police at all. so im sprinting my ass off and the only other person by me is this big nigg named cris allen. so im like yo cris follow me if you want to make it out of this bitch. were sprinting up the dike and as soon as i get to the top i see a sheriff car and 2 Elmira police cars so im like fuck. we go back down the dike and run down it untill we get to a farther st. during this whole time that nig is tryin to get me to take breaths cause he's all out of breath. so we take an occasional 5 sec. break we finally get up to a st. that has no cops are cars on it and we start goin up that. as were walking up the st. we see a cop drive by and he keeps goin by. then this mother fucker puts it in reverse goes back to look down the st. were on sees us and starts goin down the st. so we start running thru peoples back yards jumping over fences and the one we get to this big white fence and right when we get over it we see this grey hound sitting there and were like fuck so we are walking real quitely to not get its attention but being that its a dog notices us so i jump back over the fence and cris tries to but didnt make it the first time and the grey hound bites him in the leg fucking this nigga up so im just like god damnit, i look around and see this decent sized rock, i grab it jump back over the fence throw the rock at the dog it runs away and i help cris over the fence. his leg is all fucked so he cant even run anymore. so im carying this mother fucker on my back. and we made it to his house which is like 3 blocks down, we didnt see any cops on the way there. so once i get him home i still have to run home, and my house is like 12 blocks away from his house. so im walking in the shadows jumping in bushes for any car that drives by. my house is literally right next to town hall which is where the west el. police dept. is located so i make my way up to the dike to avoid the streets. i dont see any cops on my way back i get home, make 2 hot pockets munch out and pass out, that would be my craziest story
