Alright. Now that that's out of the way, we can get to the actual items of interest. Firstly, we have a gorgeous pair of 08/09 K2 Hellbents in a size 179 (measures about 184). I've got these hot babies mounted up at -1.5cm from true center with a pair of FKS 155s for a 310 bsl (size 27/27.5 full tilt). I would rate these at 8/10 in terms of condition. The bases on these are pristine, with the exception of a few very shallow gouges. These are some of the toughest bases out there. I've run over the same rocks as a person on some line opuses, and I didn't get a scratch while the opus got a big gouge. Ive heard that as base durability goes, bents are really only beaten by on3p and a few other botique brands. Some of the little dings look bad, but that's because I have a dark blue colored wax on there, which I'll be taking off shortly, as I probably won't be skiing these ever again. There are also a few marks from edge rust on the bases from being pressed together, but I'll polish the rust marks and the actual edge rust off before shipping. Purely cosmetic. There is the standard K2 topsheet chipping, but it's not actually as bad as most K2 skis you'll see from this era. They're on their 2nd mount, with the first being I think for a pair of PXs at somewhere around -5 from true, although I'm not sure; they were drilled before I bought them. I can sell unmounted or with the FKS, although I'd rather keep the FKS for my next pow rig. If the price is right, I'll sell both though. Lets say $300 for the bents unmounted, $400 with the FKS, and $150 for the FKS alone, although I really don't want to sell the FKS unless I have a sure buyer for the skis. Now for some pics:
Next, we've got a pair of Armada AR6's from 09/10, the last year they were produced. Size 181. These things are pretty beat up, but still have a little bit of life. The edges are very dull and rounded over, and there around 4 edge cracks on each ski, about 2 on each side. One of the edges is starting to pull up, but from the ~6 times I've skied them, none of the edges have gotten pulled out further. The bases are a bit worn down, but still have plenty left. There is some pretty serious topsheet chipping, including a sizable square chip from one of the tips, but these are all purely cosmetic. I will warn you, the edges on these skis are extremely dull, and they will not hold an edge in the slightest sense of the word. If you ski in a very icy area, these will be pretty scary to ski on. You could try to sharpen the edges, even though they're pretty worn down. I have never tried; I don't own a sharpener, and I only used these skis for rails. However, as a rail ski these are extremely fun, as the dull edges make for a very catch free ride. Also, there is the slightest amount of tip rocker, just from being used a lot. They're on their 2nd mount, for STH 14 drivers at a 310 bsl at true center. The first was 2.5 cm back for STH drivers at a similar bsl. The set of holes that are 2.5 back from true center are plugged, and the current ones are heliocoiled. There's also a CM wide base gouge right next to one of the edges that isn't to the core (I believe), but is down to the base graphic. I honestly wouldn't spend the money to P-Tex these skis, I'd just let the gouge stay there and use these to thrash on rails and not worry about braking. These skis would make an excellent urban or rails-only ski. I am extremely hesitant to let go of these sth 14s, but I will if I get a very good price. People will probably accuse me of overpricing these bindings, but I just bought them new last year, and I'd like to keep them unless I can get a lot for them. Lets say $100 for the skis, $175-$200 for the binders, and $250 for the entire setup. Again all prices are OBO so feel free to bid up. Now for some pictures:
Happy bidding, PM me if you have any questions.
Love,
Isak
