What region has the best pizza?

Recently me and a few of my buddies have been getting into heated disputes of what "style" of pizza is best, and from where it comes. NY, CHI, California, Italy, etc ....


I've never actually had pizza from Italy, I've only heard that it's the best.

My personal favorite is Chicago style deep dish pizza from Lou Malnati's. Nothing can beat that crust!

just got back from a trip to italy, some places pizza tasted like heaven, while others i could not really tell a difference from here in the U.S. it all really depends on where you go when your there

fuck yeah. I live one street over from the original pizzeria regina in the north end, the place is crazy busy all the time its just so damn good.

WOW what??? Clams casino is the best pizza that has ever been created. It's almost impossible to get one at Pepe's because they run out of clams so fast.

The Red Tomato in Madison has the exact same, even better than Pepe's. The owner used to work at Pepe's so he has a very similar recipe. It's also never as crowded as Pepe's and their clams casino is balling. Any NY/New Haven style is better than anything else.

this,

i had my best pizza from a back alley take away in florence, there are super nice places and shitty places as with anything.

i'm all about the super thin pizzas with the blistered crusts. pepperoni and jalepenos for me errytime

the Bag at Sugarloaf and the Dugout in farmington Maine

Hoagies and pizzaman both in Lyndonville Vermont

and obviously pizza from new york and boston
