I was planning on buying some 178 Moment night trains, but I am concerned about how wide they are underfoot, I fear they might have too much float, amongst other things. I know that this is very brief but any reviews or helpful advice from anyone who has a pair is appreciated and will get you +K. Thanks..
I have a pair and let me just say if it is deep and thick these puppies will shred that shit hard. I ski sierra cement powder and these are my go to skis so I think that speaks a little bit. They can slash super well. Having the no camber and rockered tips and tails really gives the skis the ability to pop around really well. Super playful. You can turn theme sideways for a slash in pow and lose no speed. SWEET. All in all good skis from such a core company.
Alright, thanks. Just one question. When you say they slash through powder, does that mean you just go and (float) over it? Or can you still get faceshots? That is my main concern.
