Rossi Scratch

 Im interested in the scratch but I havnt herd much about them. Im pretty sure they are the same as the S4 so if you have either please give me some info on how they ride.

Anyway I ski alot of rails so i mainly want a nice light ski with low swing weight, and is really poppy. Also they have to be durable because im not made of money and my skis need to last atleast a season. So if any one has good or bad reviews on please comment, thanks.

i have last yrs/this yrs scratch with fks 18's. You won't be let down. Its everything you described, light, durable, snappy, tons of camber, really good park ski that still will kill it all mtn. Not like super deep, but you should know not to expect that from a 82 mm underfoot tradional camber park ski. Im going to be riding mine again this season along with my pair of scimitars and don't see myself switching from Rossignol anytime soon

Alright, would you im pretty sure ill be going with the 174's and im like 5'8. will that be to small?

It goes 168/174/181 right?

at your size its all personal preference, If you like a longer ski then 181, when I was your sized I loved my 174's though.

I'm also looking to buy a pair of s4/scratches. So far, I've only heard good things about them. And, 174's should be great.

take into consideration where u are going to mount. if you are going dead center I would say get 181. But you would be safe with the 174. get some fks 14/18 depending on durability and din needs and you'll be set

Youshould also consider howmuch you weigh and if you ride tail heavy, when making the size choice. We had a few pairs with snapped tails, so if your heavy or ride very hard the 181 may be the better option.

Alright, well i ski pretty much rails. I only hit i only hit a couple actually bigish jumps. Im 5'8, still growing and i want them for atleast 2 seasons. I weigh 135lbs and will be mounting my fks 140's dead center. 174 or 181?

Well if you want to try to get two seasons out of them I would get the 181. Your really light still, so I imagine you will grow more, and at 5'8 you should be ok on the 181. It help help you inprove too. I started on 171cm skis and have progressed to 181cm even though I have not changed height.

Overall they hopefully should be great for you, just mind those tails on heavy backseat landings

I doubt at his weight hell be snapping tails.... I weigh 185 and Ive had zero problems with mine and rode them all season.

well i feel like if i got 181's i would end up spinning really slow and not being as quick on rails

AR7s are also very similar to rossi scratches. I would go big rather than too small as well.

I'm your exact weight and maybe an inch taller and I love my 174's. I wouldn't suggest getting the 181, its a full camber park ski so it skis true to size. My only regret was not getting fks.

Wrong. Armada's park skis are super soft torsionally, rossi's are very stiff torsionally. Many people forget this factor. I can twist an ar7 like there's no tomorrow. S4's are 100% a better ski.
