So last Thursday (the 24th) two friends and I made the trek up to Tuckerman's Ravine to see what was left for East Coast skiing. The fog was thick and dumped some rain from time to time but it was a lot of fun.
The entire floor of the ravine was melted out but Left Gully, The Chute and The Sluice were still skiable with some restrictions.
Sluice, we stayed away because it looked pretty sketchy with undermined snow.
The Chute
The view down Left Gully
The view across the Ravine
Overall it was a ton of fun and there is still a lot of snow up there and definatly worth the hike. We were the only skiiers in the Ravine that day so all the snow was prime
I was a happy camper.
A pair of runs, first down left and then down the chute
