thanks i don't actually work as photographer or anything i just got a t3i a couple months ago but this picture is in Kragerø, Norway and I'm working at a local grocery store in Oslo,Norway called Meny...

Minimum Wage is like $23 so.....

lightroom is basically a bulk photo editor/viewer/manager. You can import an entire memory card, sort through all the photos, do some editing, and export all with it

Standalone. Well, I have PS on my computer too and will sometimes export a photo over to it if need be, but most of the time I just process in LR (if at all)

The 'Basic' panel overhaul is worth it. And then there's RGB curves as well. Worth it to me.
And the sharpening engine has been improved.

Drool RBG curves. Any advice on flipping my old CS3 edits over to the new settings, my old catalogue from CS3 is showing up with the CS3 layout. I have to force it to adjust to CS4.

I think you can set it to do automatically. Not sure. Mind you because the eninge has been completely changed, weird things may occur to your LR 3 catalog file.

Oh, and LR isn't part of the CS series!

I just did my first edit using LR4 and it is absolutely amazing. The auto-sharpening is so much better, not to mention the new basic panel is insane, the amount of highlight recovery is crazy, no noise what so ever. I'm sold. Great product adobe!
