Need help with bridge building.

 What up ns? so for my metal shop summative we have to design a bridge and make it using 1/4" hot rolled steel round rods and 1/8" hot rolled steel round rods. I need advice for the design part, such as what design is the most efficent, points are scored to have the lightest but strongest bridge. We also have to use truss design

dimensions are: 34" long, 6" wide.

the best design would have a good weight dispersion as well as a method for maintaining rigidity. I would go with a deck made with small trusses that link back to two reenforced joints that connect to each end of the arch.
Study truss bridges as well to get an idea of what the strongest design is.

I'd say cross bracing in key points. It will let it be light and sturdy. Hope this helps you!

Yeah i actually was googling stuff, i was learning about truss design, i was asking if anyone knew of any really good plans/designs because they've worked for them.
