Anyone one here taken the Math 2 and Chemistry SAT subject tests? I have mine on Saturday and I have no idea what to expect. I've been reading the Princeton Review for each one but I don't know if it has everything I need.
Math I started out super east then got into some trig stuff that I just completely forgot about. Still pulled a 720 out of my ass. I've heard Math II is pretty hard along with Chemistry.
Taking the US History and Chem tests this saturday. I think I have a really good chance of scoring in the high 700's on US History, but I think chem I will get somewhere in the 600 range.
I have taken Math I and Math II. If you can do basic trig stuff I would recommend Math II because the scale is so much better. I got a 780 on Math II and a 690 on Math I and they werent that much different. Also, pulled a 760 on US History... word.
700 is pretty damn good man! What schools are you looking at? Go to collegeboard or the school's website and see what the average scores are for people accepted in the last year.
I'm hearing that 750+ is where you want to be, but since I'm gonna be an engineering or computer science major (probably) it doesn't matter as much. Shooting for top-20 schools.
I got a fucking 610 on chem, pretty pissed about that but I got a 720 US which I am decently pleased with. I shoulda taken math II cuz ive already done pre calc and then just taken it again after junior year if i didnt do well
Does this apply to the SAT overall? Like say I need ~200 more points to get this scholarship I really need. I got a 1960 and need a 2140. I got a 720 and 700 respectively on reading and writing, but a 540 on math. Would the Barron shit help my math score for the SAT???
