So here in the UK we've only got a handfull of small ski hills, and we barely ever get good snow (from Feb - March there was no skiing, it was all grass) but thanks to a late dump in April everything opened up again... still how about this for dedication:
I went to cairngorm a couple of years ago when the snow was brilliant, i really liked it. Definitely wanting to go more this year when the snow is better.
scotland is epic when it's dumping - Nevis Back Corries at the end of Jan this year were off the chain considering the poor season scotland was having. However, what I'm saying is I think homegrown British riders are some of the most dedicated out there, especially given the cost of skiing in this country and the lack of proper mountains.
the one where i'm at doesn't hurt that bad, it is a little bit harder to try things though (i think) because it's not as soft as snow if you fall. Plus my skis are always dirty when i leave too which kind of sucks. Still it's better than nothing, and they're reasonably cheap.
