You have got to be fucking kidding me. What a ridiculous waste of time.
I don't get fixed gears. How the hell do you people deal with hills? Just grunt through it? Any gearing that will allow you to even get to the top of a reasonable incline will be utterly useless on the way down. I rode one of these things for 20 minutes out of the shop and it was totally impractical. Just get a real bike...
It's not only that, though, it's like... fine you want a bike to ride around the neighbourhood maybe to the grocery store or short trips, whatever. Flat terrain, not to actually ride for real. Cool, maybe you have a bike for that purpose, it's not like we don't all have 10 pairs of skis. But have a real bike for actual riding. Don't even care if it's a road bike, cyclocross bike, touring bike, hybrid commuter, downhill, whatever you do, at least it's actually useful for something.
And that Bianchi conversion is just a monstrosity. Why you would use that frame is just painful, just to be ironic or what? If anything deserves a "fucking hipsters"...
