what i did was i got a flip front helmet and a auto tint filter that fits in the helmet. the helmet cost around $70 that looks like this:

and the filter was around $150. i think it's better than any other $300+ helmet any day.

although some guys like the cool designs and shit.

miller makes a wide range of badass helmets. basically my whole shop uses miller

also take a look at Lincoln, pretty sure they make some cool helmets too.

on a related note my buddy borrowed a pair of brazing goggles to use for closing day at our local hill, by the end of the day he looked like a damn raccoon

Oakley airbrake for a prime goggle tan, with all that radiation coming off the weld you'll have a nice prominent goggle tan!

it's funny because i've actually had this happen to me, except with safety glasses.

people kept on asking me if i went skiing but it was in the middle of the summer.

Hurts a lot less than people think, the blue dot that you see goes away within a week or two then it's back to the games. Definitely recommend this option if you're lookin' at cutting back on spending.

It'd be a reverse goggle tan with a dark rectangle around the eyes and pasty untouched everywhere else hahaha
