I'll try to explain this well:
The drop in stand is a 4'x3'x3' box, and i just cut wood to the lengths necessary, so 4 4' segments, and 8 3' segments. that will take you 6 8' 2x4s (the length you would find at home depot), and youll then have 4 2' segments left over.
The ladder was made of two more 8' 2x4s, and the rungs are 2' long and placed intermittently down the length of the wood. i used 7, but you can definitely get away with six, so if you use the leftover lengths from the stand, you only need to buy one more 2x4.
i then have 3 pieces remaining: a lip, transition, and flat piece. the lip and the flat piece are 3'x4' sections of plywood with turf on them, except on the lip i put ome old wood i had under one end to angle it up. the other transition piece is a piece of wood my dad had for some reason and its 4 feet long. you dont need this piece, but it will make an easier tranny so you can have more speed. make it yourself if you want it, i cant explain it.
then i bought 48' of the low quality turf, cut and stapled it on as necessary, and used the leftovers for the landing. so overall:
48 feet of turf: ~$25
One 6'x8' plywood sheet: ~$5-10
10 8 foot 2x4s: ~$20-25
so youre looking at anywhere between $40 and $60 depending on how much wood you have at your house. the whole thing can be put away quickly, and thats that. hope this helped
