Fair point actually. Alot of the artists i listen to however may not have a record label as such but still release music on a label, or several! but they might only be like 2 track EPs. But i'de say only about 5-10 people on this site may have heard of them if that! Im no hipster, and im not the kind of dude that is gonna say im cooler because i know of them and you dont. Its all subjective to your music taste. I know the artist because i like their music and i know how to find it.

Envio is pretty well known for his trance tracks, but his "Ash Kahn" project is pretty underground. I'm not sure how to describe the genre, ichill instrumental hip hop is pretty close. You can get his album for free here:

http://www.nrk.no/urort/default.aspx It's a Norwegian site with a lot of "underground music". Mainly unsigned artists. It is a really great site for finding music. Most of the tracks there barely have 2000 plays, so i'd say most of it is pretty underground
