WASHINGTON (AP) -- Federal authorities say a computer disc found

inIraq contained photos, floor plans and other information about

eight school districts in six states. One of those schools is the Birch Run district in Saginaw County.


The downloaded data was found by the U-S military in July. It's all publicly available on the Internet. Two federal officials say it's unclear who downloaded the information. And they stress there is -no- evidence of any specific threats involving the schools.


Besides Birch Run, the other districts reportedly are in Georgia, Florida, New Jersey, Oregon and California. The officials say F-B-I agents alerted local education and law enforcement officials about the finding last month.


Birch Run School district officials were unavailable for comment Thursday evening. A spokesperson for the F-B-I office in Detroit referred TV5 to F-B-I Headquarters in Washington, DC.
