Rossignol Scimitar vs. Scratch

I'm not sure which one of these skies to get. I will be dedicating most of the time to the park and urban. So I really want the ski to be very playful and buttery. The fact that Park White rides the Scimitar makes me lean that way. I'm not sure though. Help?

Get the scimitar, it's a super fun ski. Same thing as the S5, just fully rockered. One of the most fun skis I have ever been on. You can butter around like crazy. It's the perfect park ski, the full rocker / reverse camber whatever you prefer to call it is much better than this rocker camber bullshit everyone is doing nowadays.

just so you know, scimitars have no camber. makes it harder skiing on groomes

This.

Skiing without poles and buttering around on scimitars is so much fun. They hold it down on everything from groomers, to heavy spring mash potato type conditions. Will rip in the park, and durability is def on point. Would recommend for sure

I skied the Scimitar all season as a park ski (tested on big mountain/pow as well) and yeah they are super fun. Easiest ski to butter / jib on ever. If the condiitons are pow or soft this ski kills it.

Only negative thing I can say about them is they suck in icy conditions (as will any rockered ski). Even sending decent booters (40ft+) in somewhat hard conditions feels a little sketch if you don't land right on your feet.

I'm also 6.5, >200lbs, and a way better skier then you probably are so take that into consideration. Ideally (for myself) I'd like this ski 10cm longer (195) and have a few more inches of flat ski underfoot before the rocker starts on both tip and tall. I don't think anyone makes a ski like that though...

Listen, I will tell you this once, both skis are stiff and lack proper durability. Specifically, my dad and I cut one with a hack saw and it took over two hours. I for one recommend any model of head skis. Whenever I rent head skis I can butter, and I am also able to perform tricks such as the 720 cork. I believe the skis are the head rentals. I am saving you money, a lawsuit, and broken bones, please buy these recommended skis so that i won't be abused.
