haha thats awesome someone finally landed with out a parachute. Would have been dope to see them do it the way people were originally planning, with the huge landing ramp where they would have had to matched their angles perfectly

Often it is a day where young kids take a field trip to a local park and have a huge bonanza of outdoor games including, but not limited to: dodgeball, tag, capture the flag, tug of war, three legged races, sack races (dont get pervy), water balloon/egg tosses, etc...

Nowadays, it's become a manner of speech meaning something along the lines of "to have a great time" and is often used in conjunction with an object or idea.

Here is kind of a weird picture I found, but I think you get the idea...

Sorry for the double post, but for those who are talking about using a wing suit and landing on their feet by pulling up hard, that seems extremely difficult and unlikely. To the guy that made that sweet gif with the canyon, not to rain on your parade, but I'm not sure you can use a wingsuit to gain elevation at all. Even with tremendous speed, I don't think you could even fly totally horizontally, let alone 'up,' since wingsuits rely on gravity to provide any sort of lift. It would work with a jetpack, since those provide their own thrust, but I don't think a wingsuit is capable of it.

I believe I saw a 60 minutes show on this and they said that for every 2 feet they fall they move one foot forward, so no, the canyon idea would most definitely not work.

Unless it if two feet forward for one foot down. I'm not sure

Yeah that might have been old or something. Most of the new BASE suits or high surface-area suits can move up to three forward per one down. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

Yu know, I must have sausage thumbs. Can't operate mobile worth a damn anyways +k for your legit thread title and because I feel good. +k to the person who finds a video of some parachute guys diving at high speeds and the navigating some pylon course at ground level. Was on daily planet awhile back.
