If you ski in the PNW nothing is better than the newer hellbents (132 underfoot). Lots of people will recommend other powder skis, but there is a reason this is a favorite here. We get seriously wet heavy snow that many other places don't experience. My favorite is taking an untouched powder line on one of those especially wet pow days on my hellbents only to have someone on some bent chet's or other less extreme rocker try and follow me only to front flip hard when they hit the "pow" (cascade concrete).
I spent all of last season demoing powder skis in search of what rode the best and the hellbents were better than everything else in PNW powder. Now if you're looking for something that is fun on groomers look for a different ski, because this isn't it. Other powder skis however, happily compromise their pow performance for better riding on groomers/hardpack, armada jj's I'm looking at you.
My close favorites were the k2 petitor, which I spent a day on in some wet spring powder this season. Float was nearly as good as the hellbent but much more camber underfoot for groomer stability, was a little better in chop too.
Also you should look at blizzard skis, I was really impressed with the cochise when I demoed it, the flipcore technology makes that ski ride completely differently from anything else, very fun and buttery, great at making nice pivot turns and surprisingly good on ice for a ski with a powder oriented lean. Take a look at the bonafide.
