Breck/Key or Vail for summer fun?

Hey guys,
So my family is heading to denver for 10 days in july for a wedding. we will be going to the other side of the mountains and we're trying to figure out where to go (Dillon/frisco area or Vail). ive been skiing in CO twice so i have a general idea of the area. im 19, i have a 16 y/o sister and my parents dont like crazy adventures, so with that in mind, any suggestions on stuff to do and where to go would help. stuff like white water rafting, ATVing, stuff like that. which would be better to find stuff to do, Dillon or Vail?

Summit has more activities like keystone has mountain biking and along with breck have great hiking trails. vail is very euro-ish like a little austria mainly for shopping and expensive food

Ok sweet Im definitely leaning towards Breck, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't something awesome in vail that I was missing. Thanks for the input

No matter where you stay I would do a little white water rafting. Check out clear creek, off I-70 on the way to breck. Also, if you stay in breck, hike a 14ner like quandry...

Please tell me you meant to spell adventure wrong.

Anyway rent some bikes and do lift assisted riding in keystone, jumps, drops, berms all that. Vail won't be as fun since you can't drink.

Yes, it is a fun place to chill for a few hours, also it is fairly close to frisco if you decide to go there. Also it is pretty close to Breck I believe.

how much does it cost to just show up and tramp and ski? do i have to do any gay intro sessions? only gonna be in the area for a day or 2. parents want to go ride the gondola at vail, i was like fuck that that's the biggest tease ever

Yes you do have to do an intro Sesh it's like 70$ and about 40 mins I lied tho and said there. Computer was wrong I did the one hit wonder.

keystone and breck are not slash worth since they are about 25 minutes drive time apart. you can go to keystone if your idea of summer fun is hanging out in an empty parking lot. Breck would be fun if you were old enough to drink but youre not. Since your parents seem like uninteresting people you should stay in denver

I think for the first training session is like $120 or something like that and then after that it is 20 dollars for 2 hour drop in sessions I believe. Still worth it though, very fun.

Camp starts 6/12 and from then on the only public time is on the weekends. But definitely check it out. Also Vail has a pretty sick MTB trails and so does Copper. Also most years there is snow in the 4th of July Bowl to shred on @ Breck, but all the mtns are within 45 minutes of each other so don't stress too much haha.

Oh and also there is a fun amusement park called Glenwood Springs or something. If you are bored go there as well as various free skateparks/mtb parks. Also check out Lake Dillon for swimming/boating.

I sure as hell wish I was there instead of Massachusetts :(

ahhhhh frick ill be in denver on the fourth! maybe i can find someone to run me up and back in time for the wedding on the sixth. btw, i have been there twice so i know the area fairly well.

ill try and go to woodward on sunday the 8th if anyone else is gonna be there let me know!
