Whats the best tripod slider?

 i dont wanna build my own slider unless i really have too, but i was wonder whats the best tripod slider, thats a good price, smooth and small, and can be put on a tripod (if possible)

i did search it on google, and only found plans or very expensize rigs.

this is a different topic also, the other thread became bad, so i wanted to get the facts in this one, then delete it and get what i need.

I just finished my DIY slider, It actualy works pretty well. Cost me about $20 to build.

heres the video I used.. I ended up changing the actual slider part to one with bearings.. ill post pics when I get home from school.

What kind of camera rig are you working with, specifically in terms of weight? I agree with Jamie on staying away from Drylin, but in my experience, the issues only arise when dealing with heavier cameras. I might actually be looking to sell both of my Drylin sliders (two different lengths and carriage sizes) if you are running something like a small DSLR setup.

i just want a slider to work on new shots and stuff for edits, if you havent noticed i havent posted a video or picture for a while becuase im completley changing the style i do and im working on it

i have a canon t2i and a tamron 17-50mm so its not too heavy
