HOLY TIMELAPSE BATMAN!

Like 25% or less of this movie had actual skiing in it. Otherwise, it was like a National Geographic or Wings Over Canada movie. Not to mention, the skiing in i was sub-par, and the lines were usually just ok. And the editing! Apart from the skiing, it was pretty, otherwise, it was like a stupid commercial, always flipping around and changing shots, rarely showing an entire line start to finish.

The message of the film was obscure, and I thought the riders and whoever were talking out of their asses and spewing incoherent hippie talk about climate change. The stuff that wasn't hypocritical or contradictory was mind-numbingly stupid and made little sense.

What a disappointing "ski" movie. I've never been so bored before, and won't ever watch it again. That is my two cents on All I Can.

I really liked it, there was a lot of talking but it was kinda cool to see that side of it as well. Just something different i guess (especially since it was free).

All I Can goes against ever ski porn flick that gets released every fall without any sort of message that makes you actually stop and think about how the world actually works to allow us all as skiers to do what we love. But hey if what you want is some mindless urban segments set to Rick Ross, that your prerogative

JP Auclaire's street segment in there was amazing. He beat the hell out those skis in that street slopestyle run so to speak.

All I Can... showed what real skiing is. it showed what skiers without unlimited funds are doing to get their turns in. you say the skiing was sub par? well for one thing, if you're out in the middle of nowhere without a heli to get someone to a hospital, you'd take it a little easier too.

great film and a refreshing change from the mass amount of ski porn that floods the market every fall

I think it´s a good movie, but I find it a bit boring after a while. It just soo slow paced. I´ve watched it once and I´l probably not see it again.

I didn't like the movie that much considering what I usually enjoy in a ski film, but it was a really nice change of pace. Some of it was pretty boring, but JP's segment was incredible, maybe the best of the year in my opinion.

I saw it , But I certainly wouldnt buy it for my collection of dvds. Especially because the best segment of the film is online for free..

There are so many better movies in my opinion, this one was overhyped. I am also biased towards well rounded movies.

all depends what you like. personally i like a movie with a story behind it. IMO All.ICan had a great story of an environmentalist type ski community trying to create awareness of the worlds dwindling resources among the ski community. Not to mention that the skiing was phenomenal. If you want a "movie" with just segment after segment with 100% skiing and no story, get something else. no one is forcing you to watch All.I.Can

Jeez guys don't get your panties in a bunch. I just thought it needed more actual skiing, less landscape shots and less repetitive time lapses. You can't keep pulling the "but JP's segment was so good!" Yeah, it was, and thank god because it salvaged the boring film that it was. I don't think it should qualify so much as a ski movie, but more of an adventure anti-climate change travel movie. They said really abstract nonsensical stuff like, "people can't keep siting around and doing nothing, they need to get out there and do more things!' As in, ski more, do more activities, all stuff that burns more fossil fuels. They were so preachy in what they said. In fact, the movie almost made me want to ski less, because I would use less emissions that way. What a joke.

ummmm, did you see Kye's section? Yeah he's got a bit of a squirrel style but he charged some ridiculous lines. Not to mention a dub 10 which basically trumps basically every other big mountain skier apart from Dane. And his rodeo off the spine/hip was so nasty.

Jp's section didn't do it for me.

Also, too many skiers hypocritically talking about climate change. JP's defense falls under the Ignoratio Elenchi category for me. We're all so inextricably tied to oil that small changes in behavior--like snowmobiling a few less days a year-- are immaterial.

the movie was filmed in a different way with more artsy shots and i think it made it unique. everyone is entitled to their own opinion so there is no need to get mad at someone for it. i agree more skiing wouldve been nice but it was entertaining to me so worth watching. honestly it was in total sub-par production but it had much more meaning compared to the cookie cutter PBP film every fall thats just bangers. and thats fun to watch and all but this movie had a unique taste that i liked even though there were some gaps in the overall production

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it enough. But the editing for the skiing was not smooth, pissed me off. And there was a help shot of JP charging into a big BC booter, all epic anticipation, and does a double backflip. Big whoop. What is this, 1975? Do a cool dub, I could do a dub back myself.

I didnt think it was that great. Some of the skiing was obviously sick and jp's street segment was sick but it did have a lot of other shit going on which was impressive but got a bit boring.

are you kidding? this was one of the only actually movie that came out this year. Other ones like grand bizarre, after dark, or attack of la nina (though good) were more like 10 or twelve edits put together into one big, non flowing super edit.

I would love to know what you look for in a ski movie, for me I look for a story or some sort of narrative that holds you attention. Something that takes it away from just the tricks being shown or lines skied and makes it something more. In my opinion when a ski movie has a meaning to it other than a long line or rider edits (grand bizarre) it makes it far more enjoyable . I wish there were more films like All i can. I loved it as I felt it was a proper ski 'film'. Another one is 'while we can', never been more stoked to ski as I was after watching this, a brilliant film.

Even though I don't agree with everything you say, and even though I don't agree with everything said in "All. I. Can." I must give you some credit. You at least took time to write out some decent posts with explanation as to why you didn't like or enjoy the movie that much, as opposed to the typical "Yeah, it sucked" posts that we would expect.

Did you even watch half the movie? Some of the lines were beyond gnarly, I dare you to go ski half of the shit that they did and come back without a broken limb or two.

And I don't really think the point of the movie was to try to be a banger dubfest like so many others are. In my opinion Weight and All.I.Can were the two best movies from last year because they both had a narrative and really good overall flow.

I'd love to say I respect your opinion, but I sort of suspect that your like 14-16ish, so I can't.... In all honesty I hope your trolling

I can relate. I also didn't enjoy it. The finished product seemed like a ski movie not dedicated enough to the skiing and an environmental movie not dedicated enough to the environment. The entire idea of documenting what these skiers go through to have a zero carbon footprint on the environment is inspiring, I just don't believe they conveyed there message well. Maybe with more time to film or a different style of production it could have been that much better.
