Looking to upgrade from last years spk 75's. Looking at either the 2012 hot doggers or drop kicks. Just looking for some intel in which I should buy, pros cons ect.. Also right now I run a 26.5 and they fit just about perfect, maybe a tiny tight with thick socks. I basically want to not buy another boot within the next 2 years what so ever and I might grow a tad more. So basically help me out, ehat model in what size? Thanks.
If the SPK 75 fits your pretty weel, its unlikely teh hot dogger or drop kick will fit. You may be better off with different boots or maybe the SPK 90, but go to a bootfitter, its the only way you will know.
Also whats wrong with 2013 boots? There wqill be a full range of sizes so you can get exactly what you need.
Price it's what's wrong with them. I'm saying if say I go try on the 2013 drop kick then buy the 2012 in the size a fitter recommends, will it be a close fit?
If you need to pay a fitter to get fitted, it can cost up to $100/hr for them to work on your boots. If you buy boots from a fitter, that is usually included in the cost of the boot.
Most fitters will guarantee the fit of the boot they sell as well. The internet won't do that.
^ yeah thats it. If you get a boot from a fitter all the work and follow up work should be free.
If you buy online you pay for all that fitting, so that saving you make buying online quickly disappears. Buy from a shop it will be the best decision you make.
But from online = pay a boot-fitter to heat mold liner + stretch/grind parts of the boot.

Buy from a shop and guarantee that your feet stay happy for the life of the boot, knowing that the shop will be there for you when you need adjustments.
