Anybody with photoshop skills want to make some money?

I forgot all my shop skills sometime over the last few years. Trying to make a pretty damn simple poster for bonnaroo. Willing to pay someone some loot or give them a % or sales.


Basically just making the backround look sorta kinda cool and throwing the name date and lineup on beveled and embossed prolly. Nothing complicated. Would prolly take like a half hour.


If you might be interested let me know. if not just tell me to go fuck myself

honestly not really. Some sort of decent looking backround whether it's just shitty random trippy colors or some clouds, or tie dyed roses or whatever. idk.



Sort of just Bonnaroo in large letter with the dates, manch TN, and the lineup in a semi decent font. Doesn't actually require much photoshop skill. Also the biggest bands in bigger font and the bands at the bottom in small font.

^ biggest font as far as bands. Then go smaller. Then maybe half way through go smaller, then for the bottom bands go even smaller.

fuck why'd they stay thumbs. I uploaded them to ns private but i can't get into private section other than "my media" which is stupid anyway. used to be able to click a circle for all public or private gallery.

also, i know there's a way to layer it on there. At least i think. If the background is a different layer than it can be changed a little bit without fucking up everything else.

Alright so a couple people were interested. Sent them some pics of 5 dollar posters I'd bought at different points for some sort of reference.


If a couple people are really down and send me some stuff and really want to go for it, maybe I could do one for wakarusa as well. Only thing with that is I'm not sure if I could sell enough there to even turn a profit.

I'll post this because people were asking what I wanted. Well not entirely sure at least have an idea on the layout and how I want the bands listed.

Bonnaroo in large letters centered near the top or maybe a little closer to 3/4s of the way up. Want it to be sort of bold. The name of the fest sort of needs to be a centerpiece because that's the whole point.

With music an arts festival under it possibly in smaller font, maybe even different font.

The have June 7-10, 2012, and Manchester, Tennessee in smaller and maybe different font than bonnaroo but up in that area. Then have the lineup from midway down to the bottom.

Then the lineup with the first few bands till beach boys in the biggest font, then get smaller from there, with the bottom bands being the smallest. Still readable but smaller because they aren't the ones people care about or are paying to see.


Dont have to have all the beach boys members in it. Can simply be like Phish Radiohead The Beach Boys......

Or sometimes they look good with a dot between each band, or it can be a space. As long as it doesn't look like 5 bands are one long name you know?

The font for all the bands can be the same. Basically once you get to that point can just copy them in and shrink the font as it goes.


Really not sure on the background or the fonts. Doesn't have to be anything ridiculous. Could just be some tiedyed roses, or clouds with some peace sign of flowers in the grass.

Also with the bands, if there's stuff going on in the background they can get pushed down more, if there isn't anything really going on you could make the top 4 bands real good size to take up some space before shrinking the font into the bands after that.

Also should mention.


Fest is in 2 weeks. Between tomorrow night and next monday- tuesday im not going to have internet. Maybe I can get onto an iphone or something and check everything though.


If they could be done my monday that would probably me best. Then I can pick something out and still have time to get it printed without being totally down to the wire. The worst would be to be too close and not even be able to get it printed by the fest.

I'll be on here tonight and tomorrow for sure if anyone has any idea or questions. Hopefully I can find a way to get on the internet. One of the kids I'm going to summercamp with has an iphone so I'll try to get on that and check things out.

Since a few people had hit me back about this. There's also a festival a week earlier called wakarusa in arkansas. If anyone wants in on that. would have to be done by monday though because by thursday I'd be in arkansas at the fest and would need to get them printed.

Just throwing it out as a possibility.


Also if this works out. Might be able to get somethin goin on the regular at least for this year. don't think im gonna have time to relearn shop and everything else till after summer.

Just a thought.

Hopefully a couple more people post some up. Going to be computerless tomorrow till monday, maybe longer. Depends if I end up hitchiking.


Hoping to get on to something so I can check out what's popped up and then hopefully choose something and get it printed
