ive heard of people just unscrewing their bindings and screwing them into another ski with holes in it. can you actually do this? is it bad for the equipment?
To the Op. yes if you take the screws out carfully and reglue the screws each time it works fine. I have been doing it for a couple of seasons now without any problems.
Quiver Killers could be good too, but if your carfull you will be fine.
Do a search on TGR. Both products were basically developed by members over there. There is one huge thread and multiple other ones. Basically they are the shit. I wouldn't listen to anyone telling you to that it's ok to keep switching bindings in to ski's without inserts.
^ its certainly not ideal but if done correctly it works fine. Bindings often have to be removed to make base and edge repairs, and doing this does not damage the ski. If you were swapping bindings every single day, yes quiver killers would be better, but if you just the switch the bindings every couple of weeks, and you have an ounce of technical skill you will be fine.
