i KBB'd your car, and going with the options i thought it probably had, i got prices raging from 3200 for fair, to in excess of 5000 for really good. you said you'd wanna spend at least 5000 "modding" it.
here's my honest recommendation. you're looking at dumping 10,000 dollars into the car total, and realistically, i imagine a smart kid like you wouldn't spend more than 7500 (total, price of car included) on the project when you realize what shit you've gotten yourself into. i know your situation, and i don't suggest pursuing it.
please keep the motor stock, and if it's your summer car that doesn't go to mountains and you just want to rip around town, do the following.
-front sway bar
-coils (raceland obviously, the lower the better. why spend money when you don't have to)
-a chip. do some research, there are a ton of reasonable conservative options that will yield many enjoyable results.
-16 inch enkeis with some good rubber, and don't get the flashiest ones you can
-don't touch the exhaust, no one wants to hear you before they see you (slowly) roll by. and cut the cats, weld in test pipes, and tune accordingly. fuck the environment.
and if you buy any of these parts new/spend more than 1000 dollars total on this project, you've gone overboard. but seriously, acura's are nice cars for the money, just make sure you keep checking the oil and stay on top of maintenance and you'll be fine.
good luck and keep us updated
