What language animals do think in? Like when they need to eat what do they think?

I was just out for a run the other day and had the exact same thought. Like do they even have a language that they think in? Or just instinct? Sort of a stupid idea, but interesting.

How about the classic...how can the universe go on forever? If it doesn't does that mean you just hit a wall when you get to the edge? If there is a wall, what's on the other side of it.

Animals don't have an inner voice of any kind. Lacking an inner voice doesn't mean that their behavior doesn't follow very complex patterns though. The universe either goes on forever, in which case the answer to "how can it?" is why shouldn't it? Or, it is finite. If it's finite, it works like a 4 dimensional donut. If you travel far enough in a straight line, you'll eventually come right back to where you began. There is no wall to run into and there is no "otherside". Space itself expands, it doesn't expand into anything.

How do i know i dont have down syndrome?    how do i know im not mentally handicapped and everyone else is just being nice to me?  this scares me every day.
i try to argue that my behavior is similar enough to others' that i know im just like everyone else,  but what if thats all part of the dillusion.    its scary!

That Carl Sagan video was insane.

What makes my head explode is the idea that no one can understand your perception of reality. The color I see as blue would be labelled by another as blue, but they might see it in a way I call green. There's no way to prove, even with color temperature, that we're seeing it in the same way. The same goes for hearing music, thinking, and living as a human with a soul. Who the fuck knows, man?

and so on - where is earth? in the universe right? but where is the universe? and why are we alive? what is it to be alive? the ablitiy to walk around, smell stuff and feel the warmth of the sun above us. etc..

haha i had this dream once that i died and when you die you go to heaven or hell where its almost like the dmb or an airport....lots of offices, people pointing you in directions, and from there you end up at an office or gate where you "depart" for your next life what ever you chose or was chosen for you....idk weird shit

That's kind of like asking "where in the united states is America?" The universe is the where. In the strictest sense, anything discovered "outside" of the universe would by definition be part of the universe. They may be something outside of the currently observable universe (my guess is there probably is), but the "observable universe" and the "universe" are not the same concept. It may also be theoretically impossible to find out.

That's definitely weird shit. I'm surprised I haven't had any dreams about it as it's something i think about every now and then. I'm scared that i'll just disappear for forever, but then i question if forever comes to an end or if it's really forever. Ahhh here we go, mind blown.

Just thinking this the other night. The fact that you could be the safest motorcycle rider and do everything perfectly down to a T and still get blindsided one day by a mom in a minivan, whether it be a day or 25 years from now. It's really up to fate.

Also thinking that before you were born is the same state you'll enter after you die. It's simple but still a total mindfuck.
