Everytime i land a new trick is an awesome moment.
But the best was defiantly my first back flip.
There was lots of people watching and no one actually thought i would go for it.
Boom! 1st attempt i landed perfect. Words cannot describe how stoked i was.

This year, when Steamboat got 26" overnight and soo much more over the whole week.
It was DEEEEP faceshots every turn, having to stop every so often to breathe.
Everyone was having such a sweet time, vibes and stoke were at an all time high.

I was pretty stoked when I landed a switch 3 on my first try.

but the best time ever was when I tried my first rodeo. it was my first off axis trick other than a cork-3.
I didn't even land it, did like rodeo 450 and my left ski popped off but it was still the best feeling in the world, I felt like I weighed 50 pounds. then I ended up landing it a couple tries later and I was even happier.

revy this year, early january. There was a foot of snow a few days prior and about 10cm the night before and I dropped bigger cliffs then I had before and accidentally went through a pillow with my entire body, which was amazing.

gonna go serious on ya... This one's more sentimental.

Id say this was sixish years ago

It was close to closing and Im pretty sure after close one night at my hill. My friend and I were just learning 360's. everything in the park and on the hill was closed down, lights off and all, except for the one light shining on this jump we were learning and sort of teaching each other threes. We hiked the jump what felt like a million times. Eventually we both ended up landing them, I broke a pole in the process. It was just an overall good time, good pushing each other and watching each other learn, I was 13-14. My friend ended up dying in a car accident the next november before the next ski season started and that will go down as one of my greatest memories of/with him.

Not really a moment, but my entire day this season at Sugarbush Parks' Hike Your Hit rail jam was pretty much everything I could have hoped for out of a day of skiing. I usually don't expect much for a rail jam, just a chance to get to shred with friends, maybe stomp a new trick or two, and ski a fun setup, but generally my skiing is not what judges are really looking for.

Anyway, I guess I set out on the day with the right attitude, and it was my kind of setup, and I sort of threw down. I landed like 3 tricks on each feature, a few of which I'd never done before and would never have expected to do. It was a really good day.

Went home with 2nd or 3rd place; I'm not sure which it really was, they judged in a weird way, only having been beat by some of the best skiers I know, one of whose skiing I have a whole other level of respect for. It was a really good day.

when i landed my first front flip on the last day last year. there were a bunch of other kids trying them and i was the first to land it. so i was pretty stoked.

Im an east coast kid, and even still, never been up to jay or stowe or anything that isnt within a 2.5 hour drive of MA. So in february i did a bunch of college visits out west and skiied bridger bowl, big sky, and vail. bridger had 18 inches of fresh that day, and was mostly empty, and my was first real powder experience. fucking amazing. then big sky was my first time doing couloirs and real steeps and stuff. still amazing. my cousin works at vail, so when i was down there, he took my out of bounds along the ridge and we skiied down to the highway and took the bus back to the base. first time doing semi-real backcountry with actual hiking. soooo great, best trip ever and yet i only took two park runs

My first time I had ever landed a 270 onto a rail, I was able to keep spinning into a 270 out. It may not seem like a lot but at the time, I was on clouds for the rest of the day. Also, the first time I had ever hit a "large" kicker. It was about 30 feet and I had only been skiing for a few days and from there on out, I knew I was hooked.

First Backflip off a big jump undoubtedly comes to mind. It was off the first jump in a triple line. So stoked, that i just straight aired the next two while doing the biggest claims. Very happy with that.

Same thing with first 3s off a big jump.

Or this day this year at Fernie. Best pow day of my life. Made the day trip from Calgary, 3 hours there and back. So worth it. (I'm the one in the full blue Armada suit)

I've been skiing a long time, so there's been many, but the most recent "Best Ski Moment" was the first time I rode the lift at Timberliine to Palmer Snowfield, hight atop Mt. Hood in the middle of summer,2009!! Words can't describe the feeling that came over me, but it brought tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. Coming from the midwest, not seeing a Mountain, let alone ski on one, since I was in 10th grade of H.S.,it took my breath away! It's been a summer destination ever since.

As an east coast kid, my first time on a real mountain was the best experience I've ever had. I still get goosebumps when I think of it.

It was February 2011 and I woke up in Park City to 2 fucking feet of snow. This was huge by my standards, so I was already in awe of this skiing heaven I had found myself in. We rented powder skis and were one of the first chairs up the lift up at PCMR. Looking down the mountain at the biggest expanse of skiable territory I have ever seen was one of the best feelings I have felt to this date. The first few flying curves down a black diamond, 20 inches of snow, blue sky, just me and the skis and the snow and gravity. It was absolutely incredible. For some people - that's like just an average Saturday morning....for me it was heaven.

Last week I did this swtich double 1440 dub Japan to Octograb. I forgot my gopro but this old guy saw me do it. Turns out he´s got alzheimers though, but I swear it  happened. Will I get spanzerized now?

4 ft pow day this year at Steamboat... first run of the day. I expected it to be knee deep, but then I dropped into this tree run and sunk up to my chest, and I knew it was gonna be an epic day.

I was at Whistler and it was my first day ever skiing west of Maine. I went up to the peak and started down The Saddle, but then turned off and went into the Glacier Bowl. The first couple of turns were chopped up, but then I was faced with a good 1000 feet of perfect, untouched pow. I was so excited. It was amazing. I will always remember it.
