Another summer setup question

I just made a thread a few weeks ago about a summer set up, but forgot to ask this question. Today i'm going to lowes to buy the materials, super stoked. Im making it almost exactly the same as the sticky thread in build a jib cult. One thing i didnt see mentioned, is if its anchored into the ground. My dad is worried that it might fall over or something. So, picture the same one as the sticky, and do you think his was anchored, or is yours? I know i could comment on the thread but i need some quicker answers. So, save the day NS! Thanks

Mine was never anchored and never had a problem with it falling down. And it was only 2.5 feet wide. I'd say dont worry about it.

If you're worried, just throw some cinder blocks on the base.

I made the same setup off of those plans and it never fell, it should be heavy enough.

it would need one hell of a hit to knock it over. if youre really paranoid about it or are building on a slight hill, you could add triangular feet at the bottom of each upright.

The weight of the wood should be plenty enough to anchor it

thanks guys. im only making it 2 feet wide, for materials. i think it will be fine but if its not i'll probably just make something like training wheels out of extra 2 x 4s.

It has to do with the heigh vs. base. By base base was pretty big, and was like 6 ft tall. Mine was completely stable. I kind of wrapped the base with strips of plywood and that kept it real sturdy
