got done with my first year of freestyle at a small local resort and am going to go to brek and keystone next year to get better any advice?

take your arms out of your tricks. everything starts from your hips, shoulders and head. look where youre going. thats what it means to "Spot". your feet will go to where your eyes are fixed. go to woodward as much as possible man.

just keep getting comfortable on your skis man. start with blind and front 270s on smaller rails and learn to control your edges. the more you ski the more you will learn.

Dont be a bitch + Watch Edits and do what you see + Trampoline + Ramps/Airbag etc.

Commitment and confidence are extremely important as well If your going to try something new.

stagger your stance when riding switch get used to looking over both shoulders and dont take off back seat, if you take off backseat, especially switch, youre gonna have a bad time

ski switch 100% of the time youre not in the park for a couple weeks before you start hitting stuff just to get comfortable. you should seriously be just as comfortable skiing switch at high speeds on difficult terrain as forward

have a goal to learn two new tricks for you every time you ski and by the end of the season you'll have a lot more confidence for the next year

if you take off back seat forward, you'll either fall, or land backseat causing shinbang

if you take off back seat switch, you'll fall on your face most likely

Yeah I do that now too. Before I started that I wasn't really progressing much, I set that goal and got so much better.
