I am currently undeclared. I have been looking at computer sciences. Specifically Web development and computer programming. Just looking for any advice or suggestions from people who have already taken/are getting into a computer sciences majors. Also I would definitely appreciate any other suggestions. Thanks guys.. +K for help.
I think its a decent major with ample job availablity. Every business needs tech bros so you will always be needed. Not sure how satuarated the market is though
It's a good major, but I've been told that because of the nature of computer science, what you learn 2-3 years prior will be obsolete by the time you graduate.
Not sure how much truth there is in that statement. As long as you major in something practical you'll be alright.
You're pretty much a math major, like I hope you realize that is almost what 90% of the major is about. Honestly I feel like electrical engineering or really any sort of engineering would be a better just because I feel you can do more with it, and it's pretty much the exact same amount of work.
