you know, a lot of people might rag on no style and other crap like that, but be thankful you have a dad that goes and does this with you and isn't affraid to try new things (obviously things like pipe). I've skied with my father twice since I was 10 (and I'm 25) and he's the reason both my brother and I ski, but he couldn't deal with his then 10 and 13 year old sons out skiing him. Thus we were relegated to only skiied our little local hill only.

Be thankful that you have the father you. I bet you guys have a blast one the hill.

My dad insists hes too old to try anything but groomers anymore. Its his hearnia and his bum knee slowing him down, I did get him in the park once, where he nearly accidentally backflipped like a 15ft kicker, it was hilarious

We have some old fart snowboarder guy that hangs out in our park and he cant do shit but tries anyway. He falls everytime he goes for a 3 and half the 180's he tries. Its really funny and i dont know how he hasnt broken his hip yet.

Both my rents ski, my dad is sick. He will go to the moguls and just bomb them, doesn't turn or nothing, he will just go kamikazi on the moguls.

My pops came with me on a sweet powder day, as a newbie freshly trained on green groomers. It was quite amusing and he was exhausted after one run, but I was impressed that he gave it a shot at least.

my mom broke her wrist half way up our mountain and some lady went to go get ski patrol at the bottom of the hill. my mom didnt want to wait any longer so she skied down to the ski patrol and ended up beating the other lady down. shes pretty hardcore. didnt stop skiing either once she got the cast.

i'm pretty stoked my dad actaully tried that. I'm lucky he can still keep up with me and that he's got enough screws loose to do daffys off tables and go in the pipe. He'll never try a rail tho, and I dont blame him.

yeah its real phatty to have parents that ski. One of my favorite people to ski with is my dad because he is always there hours before the lifts open waiting for that first chair up on a powder day and the last one to come off the hill. After skiing some of the most technical terrian i have ever skied, my dad is only a few turn behind me, and he is alway right behind me after a hike. He skied everything i could throw at him in whistler. Then to top it off i took him to slickrock (moab utah for mountian biking for those of you that dont know) and it was his first time mountain biking ever and he was right behind me the whole time and ended up doing the entire loop in under 3 hours. i thought that was really impressive considering it was his first time mt biking.

My dad was an inovator skiin switch 10 years ago. and i was his sidekick going through his legs. he used to rip but now he hasnt skied in 2 years because he has some nerve problem. hes bummed. I feel like a dick sometimes cause i will bitch about the ice but I know he would do anything to be able to ski on that ice.
