Things I should bring to college

So I'm headed off to college this fall, and am getting all the standard stuff (bedding, computer, etc.) and was wondering what random crap might be cool or handy to have

if you bring some sort of video games, remember to bring a TV. i had my PS2 sitting in the bottom of my dresser with nothing to plug it into.

like said before:
xmas lights
tapestries because they make your room fuckin sweet
a mini fridge
a couch (youre gunna want a beat couch because it will just get fucked up anyway)
video game system/tv
a shower bucket
a microwave
a big trash can
extension cords and those multiple plug things
if your dorm is uncarpeted get some sick carpeting simply because itll make the room awsome

just bring a drum pad.
your roommate will fucking hate you

my roommate played drums for a band and i had no problem with him just chillin on his drum pad. I would have fucking burned him on a cross if he had brought actual drums with him, and then I would have needed another roommate.

instead of a safe a friend of mine kept his refrigerator box and slapped a mailing adress on the top. Its illegal for anyone to search or go through your mail. Therefore you through all your empties in the box and close it up. Boom no one can search it and you have avoided an MIP.

so far ive got a nice set of speakers, debating a lockable mini fridge for boose and food. some other things in this thread sound like a good idea too

N64 is clutch, beerio cart and super smash are all we played.  So is febreeze if you plan to have weed in your room (you dont realize how potent weedsmell is until you go to college). 

Other that that for you room: bring a fan, temperpedic bed cover, speakers, shower caddy, and a shot glass. (I'm sure ive missed some other vital things)

For the longboard, this is clutch to have (reverendwrong's reason and quick transportation when you need to get across campus), just dont get stuck having to make all the dutch runs to moble when your friends find out you have this capibility.

I couldn't have a car this year but a car is the best thing you can bring.
