Hey guys im 14 years old and starting to get into park skiiing. I'm 5.5" and about 130 pounds. I will be skiing park most of the time but about once a month I might go do some other stuff. What skis would be very durable and not to pricey? +K for help. Thanks
k2 press is a really great price point ski, pretty soft so great for beginners. ive heard of some durability issues, but you should be fine if you weigh 130. line afterbang is also a really durable ski that you can normally find for a good price. its really sturdy just kinda heavy
for price point its hard not to go wrong with an el rey. k2 press is the same build as the old fujative but with rocker. its good, just wont be as poppy on jumps. great for rails and small stuff tho.
honestly, both are good, pick which paint job u like.
to echo what everyone else is saying, it's hard to go wrong with k2 or armada. for your size you should consider skis around 170, or even a little longer if you're planning on skiing a lot. it'll amaze you how quickly you can become a pretty good park skier
No way, I would recommend something between 171 and 179, and maybe even 181 if you are still growing. Are you an advanced-expert skier outside of the park? If so go higher, if you are a beginner 171-175 would be perfect.
