Trying to do a report on Simon Dumont

i'm trying to do a report on simon dumont and how he influenced free skiing. i remember watching a movie called transition which talked a lot about his life. But I've been looking and cant find the video, so any help would be very appreciated.

plus if you know of any interviews he did online or any more information would be awesome.

tansition was a full length dvd from poor boys...doubtful youll find it online anywhere but you can buy it at their store im sure....i think i got it free with EDIAS or yeah dude or something, forget the year.

that being said.....how did simon influence skiing? i know this is just gonna sound like re-hashed simon hate, but im wracking my brain and honestly i think hes been a trend follower his entire career.

i found it free on the freeskier podcast but it dosent work anymore.

and i would be open to try anyone else i just though simon whould be a pretty easy candidate to do a report on. and hes been in comps since 03 so i figured he had to of influenced it in some way.

dont get me wrong, hes a great skier and has been on top for a long long time, but i dont think he ever lead the way in any aspect of skiing. even in pipe...candide and cr johnson really paved the way for him and all he ever did was the same tricks as them only bigger...maybe candide, seth, thall, dorion, auclair, jon & mike douglas....

A few years ago, The Ski Journal ran a huge feature on Simon. Maybe try to track down a copy of #2.4 or we do have a few more back issues for sale.

i remember watching transitions and there was a lot about him thought it would be easy.

i did find it currently watching it i will put it here if anyone else is interested

its a great watch.

is there like a lion free anywhere? that was anther factor in choosing Simon
