Try Hestra, you will reaslise what real gloves should feel like. Expensive, but so so worth it.

Quality water proofing will fix that right up, there cheap enough to where you could easily buy two of them and keep an extra pair in your pack.

those gloves are aight, but you want these bitches for cold days. honestly, they are just as warm as the par of POC padded racing gloves I have and run you about $20. For days you need an extra pair, or just when you dont want to fuck up your nice gloves, these are the jam

THIS, plus you can get hestra work gloves for like 20 bucks that are super legit!


I had some extra water proof leather hestra goo from some bomb ass mittens. Used the rest of it on the work gloves and now those things are like a 100$ pair of gloves!

idk but i use them snowmobiling and skiing in the backcountry everyday, they're warm enough!

I actually prefer the all leather insulated gloves because they stay waterproof much better. I got a pair at the beginning of 2010 season to work park crew in, and they've lasted through this season. Using both liquid silicone and wax based waterproofing made these gloves the perfect pair. hands stayed completely dry and warm on the coldest Colorado and Utah days.

See, no I massively get your point. Why bother spending allot on gloves if others will make do?! I thought that until I had Hestra's. Could a $20 glove reeeallly do as well the overpriced Hestras?? I don't mind spending good cash on something that will help the smiles throughout the day.

I love my Sno-sealed Kincos for lift serve days and as a backup for backcountry. On the way up, though, I wear some cheapo $10 BD gloves because I get very warm.

I seriously rate my Cactus SPG's... all leather, except I suspect they're made of stolen pieces of Batman's suit then waterproofed by rubbing them with Unicorn fat and Simon Dumont's tears. I suspect they would stop bullets, and speeding trains. They are extremely tough gloves.

Yeah, I found the most warmth for my hands this winter were: Colombia liner gloves, old sock cut off at the ankle and a hole cut in it for the thumb, and a swany norse shell.

MITTENS! but if i do use gloves, i usually just pick up Kombi gloves at my local store for 15 bucks, and they're pretty good...There are also armada gloves which where pretty good.

Yep, MITTENS. But I really like the more dexterity of a glove. Still gonna preach the Hestra Seth 3 finger.

Stupid expensive, but so so worth it.

Dayum, hestrajob makes some really nice looking work gloves and mitts, and I may buy a few different pairs to try next season (hoping a local hardware store will carry some)

Those look better than 3/4 of the gloves on the market, made by hestra, leather, and they're 27.99 Thats a deal if I've ever heard one folks.

after getting my dakine mittens jacked while I was taking a shit, I got Armada Eight Mittens. Best Gloves/Mittens/Handwear that I have ever used/worn. They are super warm, I have yet to get wet hands skiing, and they look sick

there are days when kincos aren't warm enough but that being said i still wore them almost every day last season. they stay a bit warmer if you bake and waterproof them properly but if you want the best warmth, waterproofing, comfort, protection, and durability then hestra vertical cut freerides cannot be topped
