If you are pushing the power to warrant needing the cowl for cooling and air, then go for it. Looks like you are stockish, so no, stay away from a hood that big.

Haha I'm actually 24 bud. I havent lived with my parents in 6 years. I dont even live in the same state as them anymore (I live down in TN now, theyre still up in NY). Trust me, its my car, bought it last July.

The Mustangs in this thread are sick. The people who cover them with flame decals and shitty bodykits and then are like "OMG I'M SO COOL I DRIVE A MUSCLE CAR IT'S SO FAST WITH A V6 AND A SOUP CAN EXHAUST" have ruined them forever for me though.

OP...I like your car homie!  For some reason I always loved that bodystyle.  i wouldn't go cowl unless it's for performance reasons.  wait until you see the 2015, it's like no stang ever seen before.

1).  I'd kill every one of you for a '69 BOSS 429 w/ nascar tags. 

2).  Only buy a cowl hood if you need clearance for your supercharger

4).  Chrome is for losers

Im only doing it for looks, as stupid as that might sound i go to alot of car shows. The car already has headers, upgraded exhaust and shift kit. So im just going for looks with my car now.

The '69s had actual scoops over the B pillars as shown.  The '68s had louvers.

Actually yes I am wrong.  The '67 and '68 shelbys had the scoop like you showed.  In stock form though, 68s had the louvers and 69s have a scoop on the rear quarters.  Sorry 'bout that.  The '69s did have a little extra glass behind the roll down window too.  Fuck, I'm an idiot.
