i don't know about you guys but i've only ever seen one girl who successfully shotgunned. by successful i mean drinking it fast enough and not spilling half of it so that you get more effect than just drinking it normally.

watched a guy shotgun once, he held the can wrong so when he punched the hole in a ton spilled out, then he put it to his mouth and opened the tab before tilting up, so more spilled out

I never thought it was a hard concept.

punch hole in bottom of the can in line with the opening on top, snag the tab with your finger, place mouth over the hole you made on the bottom, tip it up while opening the can of beer, chug and repeat.

Meanwhile, in Australia. We don't shotgun. I had never even seen it done until i went to Canada and on my birthday, March this year, when I turned 21, they made me shotgun a 'tallie', those 710ml cans? Did the whole thing in like 12 seconds. Then fell to the ground in agony and released the worst burp i had ever heard. It was like a lion's roar. But I did it. And I can down a beer so fast it'll make your head spin, and mine. But I'm Australian, so is it still impressive?
