I got my glidecam a month ago and i my ankle was still in a cast so i didint start filming with it since 2 days ago,
This is was it looks like, IMO its pretty good and I found it quite easy to keep the subject on camera and keep it stable ,

What could i do to improve my filming or to just practice?
Im gonna use it ALOT this winter .
Embed please someone? Im on mobile
For a first time with a glidecam, that was honestly pretty good. the only thing i noticed was that it wasn't shaky, but it was kinda swinging around a little too much. do you know what i mean? just keep practicing. sweet little edit, and the skating was fun to watch
It looked so good! Skating was a good subject to Film and like said there is a lil bit of pendulum going on but i just got my glide cam and it also seems to do that so i think it is something you definitely have to learn how to avoid but overall the edit seemed very professional and i liked it one more thing was that on some shots when the skater comes to close he gets out of focus but stuff like that is pretty usual
Okay i understand what you mean, like when it tilts on the side? I noticed its mostly after the trick is landed, thanks for pointing that out! Ill work on it for sure
it looked good, i would say make sure the movements are smooth, like the pans, some of them were a bit abrupt but for the first time it looked real good! just keep practicing it gets better every time
