Is there a place for snowboarding on NS?

Well... For the first time in roughly 8 years Mammoth made some dramatic shifts in its approach to the annual springtime West Coast Invitational, perhaps the most surprising of which was to include SKIERS. YES!

This year's WCI Inaugural Big Air Comp took on a very original format: 1 skier/1 snowboarder teams faced off, going head to head in an elimination style contest.

A couple guys took it to the middle DEEP, landing below the gap... Unfortunately I did not have the downhill/landing vantage point at the time. Impressive none-the-less.
