ok so i snapped my skis sent them in for warrenty and they lost them so i get a 300$ credit for my $180 pair of surfaces. i hear the aftrbangs are a similar shape as my notimes and the layer construction intrests me but i also hear the chronic and anthoms are giod or should i buy new no times wgat are your thoughts ns?
I have ridden chronics for a bit and they were great, I really liked the stiffer more snappy flex, they had great pop and felt they were fun and playful on rails and jibs. I have never ridden Anthems (travelling circus), but I can say that they are softer and symetrical so they will feel more jibby.
i honestly loved the shape of my no times i actualy swithed from suspects to no time for that rocjer shape they were so buttery to bad the construction blows
my friend has them. They seem durable with no real damage after 1 season. They are jib rocker with early rise in the tip and the tail and seem very buttery but can still handle the groomers really well.
Had a pair of 09/10 disorderlys (old domains) and they were a pretty good ski. Pretty soft, and had a lot of flex. I ended up switching to suspects though. They were just not the ski for me. But they are a pretty good ski in general.
Here's the abangs in a nutshell: they are heavy and slow, but indestructible. They don't snap, they just slowly become more and more rockered and the bases get more and more trashed. I would go with the Domains. Sintered base=speed.
yeah i hit the park rails most of the time i got out and rode urban once this year and thats when they snapped the funy thing was it didnnt snap when i was on the rail it snapped imediatly after i afterbanged for the ladies.
