Ok, so I'm from the uk and recently spent the season in canada where the sport gets way more coverage than it does at home. I'm into pretty much all sports and enjoy watching on tv too but as much as I watched it I couldn't get into it, nor could most of the rest of the uk guys I was with. I know it's gotta have something to be so popular all over the country, so can some one tell me the appeal. No shitstorm intended!
