Every new plane has had issues, everyone acts like the 5th generation fighters are different in that aspect but it's simply more noticeable because they cost a lot to fix. I'm not worried about that, the F-22 has more than "proven itself" as many say. There isn't a jet in the world I'd want to take against it, you WILL lose. That jet is insanely capable and anyone who says otherwise is seriously misinformed.
The only reason I didn't put it number 1 on my list is due to the fact that it's mission more or less excludes air to ground. The F-16 does everything, not as well as the more specialized fighters, but everything. I want to keep doing low levels, air to air, air to ground, and maybe a CAS type mission too. That opportunity was appealing to me, but trust me when I say I flip flopped those 2 for months before putting Vipers 1st.
Of course if I don't get what I ask for tomorrow, this is a moot point so right now I'm just hoping I did as well as I think I did.
