I was there less than a month ago for the 95th anniversary of the battle. And the only thing i dont like about the bill is that it really doesn't have any canadian stuff on it, sure the memorial is canadian but its still in france, we should ditch the queen too.

The controversy is stupid, all that Political correctness these days.

Yes it's two square skiny near identical towers like there are thousands.

They explained how the design procces went:


They started out with the requirement: two skinny residential towers.

Then they added a bridge for support and looks but a bridge was boring. (Building looked like an H)

MVRDV has done a lot with the metabolism style of architecture in the past. (Metabolism = Stacking modules in a way thats similar to organic growth.) So they styled the bridge section that way.

And thus the Cloud was born.
