My dad needs pow ski help!

My dad has been skiing atomic metrons for like 10 years but is getting the crimsons or savages this year. He wants a pow ski too he is 6 feet tall and about 180 lbs. I'm thinking he would like jj's bent chetlers or rocker 2's. You think he should get a 185ish or 195ish? He will only be using these on pow days and he only skis like 10 days a year

my dad got rocker2's and likes them alot because he can still carve on groomers with them and that an esential because he used to race

I'd stay away from the more Jibby pow skis like JJ and the Bent. Unless your dads throwin 3's off backcoutry booters. Look for somthing more directional. Like the k2 pontoon, K2darkside, or  Icelantic shaman.  With a more directional ski and less rocker in the back will be better for chop.

He loves throwin "helicopters", dropping cliffs, and flat out charging. He is big on carving though and idk what ski does all these

my dad is 5'10", never does tricks, and has a boner for his 186 JJ's

he demo'd those, Nordica Patron's, and rocker 2's, and liked the JJ's the best

Tell him to go on backcountry.com and chat with them online. they can help out to give him some Ideas of skis that fit what he wants. other wise just wait til winter and demo a bunch.

My dad wasn't to impressed with my jj's but he only skied them on an icy day

Sounds like he'd enjoy the Wrenegade or Cease and Desist. If you dont need a large floaty tail for landing switch in pow, go with a directional powder ski designed around a traditional mount point.

If he skis a sum total of 10 days a year, and only wants to use the big planks on pow days, they might get used 2 days of the year. Might as well just get a rockered carving ski... Salomon BBR springs to mind. Then spend the rest on hookers, blow and partying.

He's already got a carving ski and it's probably like 10 days a year at baker so half pow days then like 5 days at a resort

Shogun is a real easy old man ski too. My old man hated the TST and the JJ and loves his Shoguns.

He skis like he's still 18 I heard shoguns are pretty boring... My dad thinks the tst/jj are both too soft

my dad just got influence 115s and these are definitely a directional charging ski. nice and stiff
