Hey M&A!

Just made my first bike edit of the season!

I know its short but a long pump track edit would get boring.

I found it weird how there was no bike sounds once the music started.
And not sure if you started editing this after Noah Wallace's edit with this song got posted on NS, but I think the song worked a lot better in that edit.
Non the less your cinematography is damn solid

As mentioned above, the filming was on point. The song didn't go great with the edit. The colors were also very bland, i know thats the effect you were going for but in some shots all you can see is trees that are completely grey. You did a great job of mixing the shots up but keeping it looking like he was doing one line with a bunch of cameras if that makes sense haha

The audio and movement and vibe was so good before the song! I would've loved to have no song at all, just forest and bike sounds; maybe some ambient crescendos here and there but no "song" ...just my two cents. I think that would have really put it next level and communicated the biking experience much more clearly. It wouldn't have be as "fun" of an edit, I guess, but much more interesting on the viewer's senses IMO.

SonReal is the king of covers, Ellie Goulding is the queen.

That was a sick edit, flowed really well, great mix of wide/glidecam and tight/tripod, so jealous of your 70-200 2.8. It just kinda ended abruptly with the song, if you had ended it a few seconds earlier or let the music fade out I think it would have worked better.

i feel like the ending was abrupt... just him sitting there..

feel like him riding away the same way he got in would have been a little less harsh

that being said, all of your shots were super smooth and well composed, and flowed really well

Eh, I'm not a big fan of SonReal's style. He has good flow, but his voice just sounds weird to me. Someone like Rhymefest would absolutely slay that track. The production is so on point.

My point is that his early tapes (lightyear) were ALL covers. Even Words I Said had a few.

as was already mentioned, it would be great to hear audio, it would really help make you fell like you are there. I used to be a little into DH/FR, and I honestly turned up my sound expecting to hear the clicks of the rear hub and the sort of crunch/sound as he goes over the dirt. You did a great job filming it, I know at least filming on trails can be a bitch because you have to set up and there is such a small window when they are coming by. Lastly, as was mentioned, the song choice wasn't the greatest. The flow was decent, but the ending seemed kind of off because the song was picking back up

I didnt mind the color, made the rider pop a bit.  i turned off the music half way through.  i think you almost need an external sound recorder and set it up on the berms and what not for that good audio for biking.  nice though, i have wanted to do a bike edit kinda as well.

loved the color, felt like it was really cool, but the song was awful im sorry haha, the filming was awesome like always

my two things is the song and it was kind of boring to watch just the pump track as there really wasnt any kind of banger or anythig
