Hey all, I'm parting with some of my camera gear. I haven't done a sale thread in a while, so bear with me. I'm doing my best to price this stuff reasonably; I want it to go to a good home. Prices are somewhat flexible, but they're already pretty low; PM me with offers and questions. Otherwise call me, beep me if you wanna reach me, when you wanna page me it's okay...
HVX: $1100
So I bought this at the end of last summer from the always lovely Jamie Walter. It has 871 hours of operation; I have no idea how many of them are tape versus card but its not really a big deal; you should be using the cards, any way.
It comes with two P2 cards, 1 x 16 GB, 1 x 4 GB, and two batteries (and charger); These were the original accessories that came with it when I bought it from Jamie.
You may be wondering why this wonderful camera is being sold so cheap. Well, it's got some problems. THESE ARE PROBLEMS THAT EXISTED WHEN I RECEIVED THE CAMERA.
First, the mic hangs a little loose. Not really a huge problem so long as you are careful. Jamie nicely applied some blue electrical tape to the bottom.
The plastic that locks the battery in (note: not the latch! I'm talking about the little piece that grabs the groove of the battery) is broken. I remedied this with some velcro. With velcro in place, the batteries stay put. I can set this up for you/include velcro if you'd like.
Aaaaaaand the lens cap doesn't fit when the lens hood is on. You gotta take the lens hood off to put the cap on. When I bought this it didn't have a lens cap. Most HVX lens caps cover the whole hood, but I struggled to find one so I just bought an 82mm clip on. If you can locate one...good for you.
Redrock M2 35mm adapter (with rails, lenses, accessories): $225
I bought this bad boy from Alex Horner a couple years ago. M2 and lenses were $200 from him, and I picked up the rails elsewhere for about $150.
It comes with a bunch of rings (from top to bottom: 43-55, 72-55, 82-55, 82-72, among others not pictured). Basically, you can hook up your DVX or HVX or whatever you want to it.
Here's some other extra accessories: extra ground glass, extra DC motors, extra wires, extra thingys, etc
The lens attachment is a NIkon mount. The adapter takes Nikon lenses. Two old Nikon lenses are included, pictured below.
So for whatever reason, Horner drilled two holes in to the top of the M2. I covered them up with electrical tape to keep out the light, and it works fine. No issue.
Libec LS38 Tripod: $300
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/697093-REG/Libec_LS_38M_2A_N_LS_38M_2A_N_Professional_2_Stage_Aluminum.html
This tripod is a beast. It rocks. For the record, the boot IS INCLUDED, just not pictured. It's currently stuck to the bottom of the HVX (see picture (2) for proof lulz).
Thanks for looking. Again, if you have any questions or want to make offers, please feel free to PM me. Same goes for problems with my thread, solicitations for sex, etc.
Cheers!
