redbull doesnt really sponsor nascar that im aware. Travis is old and his body cant take the same beatings it used to. If you think he's washed up though you clearly haven't seen nitro circus live. Also they have a 3d movie coming out

i was at the ny auto show a couple weeks ago and was walkign from the caddilac/chevy area and just saw pastrana cruising down with one of his boys down the hall. Gave him a high five as he walked by

idk if being a driver in a NASCAR race makes you washed up, especially from a monetary standpoint.. but hes getting older, and his body is beat to shit. it happens to everyone, will even happen to you OP.

not washed up at all, that dude just does everything that might excite him. Hes only what like 29? he's got a long time before he starts going downhill, for all we know he hasnt yet reached his peak of his ability. Though he has fucked his body, i dont know if its effecting him, he just keeps getting crazier and crazier. but at some point all that abuse will take its toll and he will have to take it easy.
Nascar will be interesting, i dont think his talent is on 4 wheels personally.

Talking about actual rally racing here. Though to be fair, no one but loeb has won it for awhile


He's like block, he's done a lot of cool stuff and is definitely awesome to watch, but people think he's a god at everything he tries because he's flashy when he does it. Motocross is his thing...he should stick to it.

dude has accomplished more in his short lifetime so far that the vast majority have. his show has hit it huge and not only do they continue getting new seasons, but now they're selling out arenas with a live show.

i'd say he's just hitting his stride in terms of being successful. and he's still a crazy fuck pulling ridic stunts.

exactly. Plenty of people are in, and have been in WRC.

I'll give him that it's moderately impressive, even though he never comes close to winning, that he pretty much just said "I want to be a rally driver. I'm gonna go do that now"

but honestly, give me the same amount of money and time, and I could probably figure it out just as well as he has.



but this is NS, so certain extreme athletes are completely offlimits from criticism just because they participate.

big money in nascar? ehhh not really. my family works in nascar and honestly if you aren't either one of the 10-15 drivers you aren't making as much as you think. economy has really taken a toll on nascar and salaries got cut a lot. plus the team he is driving for can't afford to pay him a lot. he is just doing it for the fun of it
