Hey guys, so I was looking to pick up either a longboard or skateboard just for cruising around town with my friends and I had a few questions. First off, longboard or skateboard? I don't know how to do any tricks on a skateboard, just ride, but I wanna start learning. Nearest park is 20 mins away by car ride, and I don't have my license. I had a cheap longboard beforem, but I sold it. I liked it alot though. The problem is though my town has shitty streets and you can only ride on about half of them. Or another option I was looking at was buying a cruiser deck and mounting it with longboard trucks/wheels. I don't really know what I should get. I want to get into skateboarding, but I won't be doing much tricks. I just wanna cruise. And from my experience I find longboards a much smoother ride than skateboards.
Here is what I was looking at:
first I was looking at getting this Supreme cruiser deck (before you say "omg its supreme, its overpriced blah blah blah, its only $50) and mounting it with longboard trucks and wheels, or maybe just some regular skate wheels that would be good for cruising.
what should I mount it with if I get it?

I know these are cheap, but they seem like nice boards, and I don't wanna spend too much, preferably under $170. And I would prefer a drop through rather than the other kinds
